Stage One doesn't start until 21 October. Ty is exempt to stage one as he made the cut in a Nationwide Tour event this year.

Ty is an amazing golf talent. Really good kid. As much ability as anyone in professional golf. If/When he chooses to commit and work like the best in the world work he will become one of them, performance wise. He is that gifted and that's a good thing. Most aspiring tour pros are kidding themselves. No chance at making a name in the game. This kid has earned the right to fail some on his journey. His 3rd Round was a 15 over par 87 to drop back to 71st place. Top 23 to qualify which is currently 5 over.

Probably not going to see him on Tour full time this year.

Every time I look at his scores it always seems to be one appallingly bad round that ruins his week.
