SEVEN BIRDIES IN HIS 2ND ROUND launch Tryon inside the cut line and all the way to a top 25 position heading into the weekend at the Nationwide Samsumg Canadian PGA. Hopefully he can continue the hot play over the next 2 days.

UPDATE: A 73-76 weekend that included a birdie-free Sunday doomed Ty to yet another low finish - beating only 5 players who made the cut.

In his Bio, He should get a Haircut. He looks as though he was out all night for many nights. Keep the ball in play and he will do better.

I see a better trend in the past 5 of 7 cuts made, he's obviously fighting the feeling to try and make up for lost ground on the weekend. Once he's more relaxed, I think those 3rd and 4th rounds will improve.
From this point I just hope he retains his Nationwide card for next year so he can not lose any further momentum, the kid just needs more experience.

I know that top 20 get PGA tour exemptions, how many get Nationwide exemptions for next year?
