It seems that Ty is consistently shooting around even par right now. Big thing I've been noticing is that he isn't taking advantage of the par 5's like he should be. He can really hit the ball a long ways and he should be making birdies not bogeys on par 5's. This week is a good example, on the 8 par 5's he had 3 bogeys and a double bogey. The eagle helped but to be a strong player he has to take advantage which I'm sure he's aware of.

From looking at his stats for each round, he's not hitting enough fairways, and not making enough putts. Without specific info its hard to know, but I'd bet that he's missing the majority of the fairways on par 5's in an attempt for more length - hence all the bad scores on easy holes

I agree. He does seem to be shooting consistently lower scores than he was last year. He was shooting a lot of rounds in the 80's last year! Hopefully, this is a trend toward lower scores.

Take it easy guys, hes only had 2 weeks where he shot around par and he only made 1 cut. Lets hope it continues and he starts shooting lower scores and actually contending in a tournament. Until he contends, he isn't going to gain any ground towards a pga tour card.

Ty shot 70-70=140 in the first two rounds of the Chattanooga Classic. That's 4 under! I'm not sure what the cut line is there, but it looks like he made it.
