TRYON RECENTLY COMPLETED PLAY IN the Hassan II Trophy tournament in Morocco. Its a limited field event (24 players), Ty's results are at the left along with all his other tournament scores as a professional.

There is also an article in The Herald where Ty sounds upbeat about heading to The Nationwide Tour next year. "The big advantage is that it will give me some space to grow up and learn my golf game."

The article also says Tryon will venture overseas more next year: ...his appearance in Morocco is part of a plan to travel more. He has Australia, Germany, and Scotland (for the Dunhill Links Championship) pencilled in for next year. He would also like to qualify for the Open Championship at Royal Troon, especially as his close friend is this year's surprise winner, Ben Curtis, with whom he shares the same IMG management.

WITH TRYON HAVING ONLY CONDITIONAL STATUS on the Nationwide Tour next year, it'll be interesting to see if there are any changes in his sponsorships (Callaway Golf, Target) or in his management (IMG). I say this because since it became clear that Tryon would not be keeping his tour card thru a high money list finish - his official website (tytryon.com) has been completely neglected.

When I did a WHOIS lookup on the domain name, I see that its actually registered in IMG's name and expires in March of 2004. Will they renew the domain name? Will they bother to update the site with results from next year's Nationwide Tour?
