ANYBODY ESLE WONDER WHATS GOING ON with Ty Tryon? He withdrew from an event a few weeks ago as the end of the season gets closer and closer and he's still short of the money list position he needs to keep his tour card. His official website hasn't been updated since mid July - it doesn't even reflect the money he made in the Buick Open in late July. His 'journal', that was only ever updated one time, has been removed from the site.

Anybody have a theory as to whats going on? Is the 'Team Ty' operation scaling down in anticipation of playing on the Nationwide/Canadian/Hooters tour next year? Or could it be as simply as the PR hound whose job it was to update the website is on medical leave?

I'm in the dark on this one. The past month has been the most quiet time for Tryon related news since he earned his tour card almost two years ago.
