Ty is highly over rated. Where has David Leadbetter been? It wasn't long ago when he was parading Ty around the circuit making him out to be the next Tiger (for his our greed.) The fact is Ty got luck in q-school and doesn't belong on any tour. Let's face it. He not a touring PGA caliber player.>

The cut line is moving. Better start packing your bags Ty.

Will he be a Justin Rose? Those are the kind of numbers cut-wise that he's been putting up. Obviously when a guy is going bad it does no good to say he's not the next Tiger. I think people should realize there isn't a next Tiger. Ty will show everyone his potential soon enough but don't look for him to become an everyday, consistent par breaker as Charles Howell without first giving him the years Howell had in college.

It's a process, I'm just glad he made another cut where he can get out of the same afternoon/morning tee slot with the other struggling pros. He may play better than Bay Hill this weekend but don't look for a top 10. Goal should be top 20 this time.

I'm glad Ty made the cut!
As for the 1 comment up above:
Lucky? No matter how many times I might go to Q School, I doubt I would ever be "lucky" enough to make the tour!

I agree, you aren't lucky, and get your tour card. You have to be pretty good and consistent to do that. I think its great he made the cut, hopefully he'll get charged up for the weekend and do something pretty good. He has the game to do it, we all know that, its just whether he can put it together for a couple more days.

What a horrid round today, there can't be much positive to take from this week after all. I'd love to know what happens when those 6 bad holes come out of nowhere. You can't do that in junior events!

One more tournament/embarrassment and it is all over. Nice 80 Ty. Fans of Ty can remain in denial, but the fact remains that he had one of the worst years a touring professional ever. Let us see how he does on the Nationwide your next year. I am sure Ty will be back with the big boys in the future, but he will never win a PGA tournament.
BYE BYE TY
