A SLOW START FOR TY AT THE Greater Hartford Open. Only 1 birdie on the day (when you only hit 8 greens, its tough to score), against 3 bogies and a double left Tryon with an opening 74, and alot of work to do on Friday morning to make the cut.

Despite his difficulties, he did manage to accomplish the really important stuff - like beating Suzy Whaley (75). Some of the players who didn't manage to beat the girl include: Matt Kuchar (77) and David Duval (83). Duval may very well be the new Ian Baker-Finch.
