AFTER THE FIRST OF TWO DAYS, Tryon leads the way at the ADT Skills Challenge in Boca Raton, Florida. He won the long-drive, took 8th in the mid-iron, 5th in the bunker shot, and 2nd in the short wedge over water contest. Thru today, he's pocketed $26,000 for his efforts. Just for comparison, he's won all of $19,812 on the various world tours during 2002. The rest of the event airs tomorrow on NBC from 3-5PM Central time.

Yep, the Sony event in Hawaii will be his first event. Beyond that is anyone's guess until the Florida swing, where I imagine he'll play in all/most of the events (Doral, Bay Hill, Honda, etc)
