TWO AND DONE. THE THIRD STRAIGHT missed cut for Tryon after he only manages an even par round of 72 when everybody else was going deep - the cut was an incredible 6-under par - the lowest in PGA Tour history. This year is just not going well for Ty at all. Even the photos taken of him aren't so hot to look at.

Perhaps he's been spending a bit too much time rolling around town in his new Escalade instead of on the practice range: Ty Tryon, Orlando's 18-year-old tour pro, recently bought a flashy Cadillac Escalade and has been spending huge sums to customize it in accordance with the prevailing teen fashion of the day. After adding chrome rims and a megawatt sound system, Tryon had some custom bodywork done last week at a ballpark cost of, ahem, $35,000. "You've got to see it," he said.
