CARNOUSTIE GOT THE BETTER OF Ty today in the 2nd round of the Dunhill Links Championship. An opening 39 that included five bogies, he got his act together and followed up with a one under par round on the inward half for a 73. He now sits in a tie for 113th place and will need a round of 3 or 4 under par tomorrow to survive the cut.

UPDATE: Regardless of his result tomorrow, Ty will be staying in Europe for another week as he is officially committed to the Trophée Lancôme in Paris next week.
