ANOTHER SLOW START FOR TY, this time at the Dunhill Links Championship. He opened up with a 1-over round of 73 at St. Andrews and sits in a tie for 73rd position. Tomorrow he plays Carnoustie in the afternoon, followed by Kingsbarns on Saturday.

Just as a side note, Casey Martin recently had this to say about Tryon: "He's already done wonders for the game of golf, especially for the junior women golfers. I tee off [with Tryon] and there are about 20 teenage girls just clamoring around the ropes."
