@ Russell Simmons The Idiot

Usually I stay out of all the politics and shit, but since otha brotha's in the rap game are already out there, I'm gonna spout off too - about Russell Simmons. Russell is the founder of DefJam, and knows alot about the music industry - but apparently thats all he knows.

Referring to popular rap artists, he said, "Puffy is certainly more well-liked and well-known across the world than George Bush" and "Jay-Z is much more liked and well-known across the world than Colin Powell."

Now, I know Puffy & Jay-Z have sold alot of records, but have they sold 50 million? I doubt it, yet thats how many people voted for Bush in the 2000 elections - it doesn't even count his support overseas. Russell, thats just stupid. But not nearly as stupid as he got later.

"Don't misunderstand me," about Iraqi President Saddam Hussein. "But Saddam is the Iraqi's problem."

Yeah, and Hitler was Europe's problem, right?
