My boy Slick Rick is getting his ass kicked back to England by the INS.

The technicalities are a result of his 1991 conviction for attempted second-degree murder, a crime for which he has already served his time. While "the Ruler" has already served his time, the INS fought and won an appeal to have the Hip-Hop all star deported from the country in 1999, and cast the man back to his homeland of England where he spent the first eleven years of his life. Slick Rick now sits in a situation where is he locked down as if in jail, forced into a typical routine where he is imprisoned as a criminal while the INS sorts out what to do next, holding the man without the option of posting bail claiming he is at "risk of flight" from the INS.

Let my people go! The Ruler is no threat - unless ya fuck with him. Go sign the Free Slick Rick petition and help get him out of jail.

And the funniest shit I saw today was Ja Rule getting called 'Tippy The Turtle' over at Metafilter. That boy's overbite is so big that it casts a shadow on his chin.

Like rap doesn't already have a bad enough image, now Big Lurch gets arrested for eating a woman he stabbed and killed. And I ain't talkin about eatin her pussy - more like her face and lungs. Yep, the motherfucker carved her up and ate her fucking lungs. The medical folks even found human flesh inside his stomach.

How fucked up do you have to be to start eating people? The article seems to try and blame it on drugs that he was taking. But I've taken more than my share of drugs, and never has it made me want to turn into Jeffrey Dahmer.

UPDATE: The girl's mom just filed a wrongful death suit against Suge Knight alleging that he pushed Big Lurch to do something like this.
