No Bias Here

This article on immigration by AFP may just be the most biased news report I've seen on this topic. Check out these zingers:
At least 14,000 mostly Hispanic students stormed out of school classes across Los Angeles in a snowballing protest against Washington's plans for a draconian crackdown on illegal immigration.

At least 11 million illegal immigrants, most of them from neighbouring Mexico, live in the United States and are responsible for keeping the human machinery of US cities humming.
Unbelievable.

Give Villegas Masters Invite

Camilo Villegas needs to be given an invite to The Masters. I couldn't agree with an article more.

World Record 25lb Largemouth

We may have a new largemouth bass world record - if the catch gets certified.
The bass weighed 25 pounds, 1 ounce on a hand-held scale, which - if approved - would shatter the world record, the 22-pound, 4-ounce bass caught by George W. Perry at Montgomery Lake in Georgia in 1932.

Freedom?

Why are people still facing death sentences for converting to Christianity in Afghanistan?

Here's what the judge and prosecutor have to say:
"We are not against any particular religion in the world. But in Afghanistan, this sort of thing is against the law," the judge said. "It is an attack on Islam."

The prosecutor, Abdul Wasi, said he had offered to drop the charges if Rahman converted back to Islam, but he refused.

"He would have been forgiven if he changed back. But he said he was a Christian and would always remain one," Wasi told AP. "We are Muslims and becoming a Christian is against our laws. He must get the death penalty."
We can't leave laws like that intact. Peaceful or not (at the moment), leaving laws like that in place is just begging for violence and extremists to rise again.

Why BASS Sucks Right Now

If ever there was a single article that summed up why so many anglers are fed up with BASS/ESPN, this is it. What a total disaster. They don't know their own rules; they keep changing their rules; they don't know how to intrepret their own rules; and they are just plain stupid.

AIM Opens Up

AOL is finally opening up AIM to developers. If they had done this 3-5 years ago, they'd be in alot better market-share position than they are now.

Masters Time Again

The 2006 Masters website has been launched. The way he's playing, this may be another run-away win for Tiger.
