Big Food
A weblog devoted to giant food portions. For some folks, seeing the pictures will make them want to throw up, it just makes me hungry.

Balloon Cells
Using high-altitude balloons to provide cell service? We could use this in Kansas too. Hope it works.

James Fry Sucks
Glad to see that James Frey is getting his due after lying to the world over the past couple of years.
I still haven't quite figured out how Oprah didn't go down with him considering that she pimped his book, then supported him on Larry King when all the lies were discovered.

Company
Company, the newest novel from Max Barry gets released on Tuesday. I've already got it on pre-order so mine should arrive right on time. I really enjoyed his previous novel, Jennifer Government as well.

Belafonte The Communist
Harry Belafonte calls Bush terrorist, priases Hugo Chavez - reinforces reason he was the 2 of clubs in the Deck of Weasels back in 2003.

MSN Spaces
What the hell is Microsoft doing censoring blogs and blog posts on behalf of the Chinese government.
If you currently have a blog with MSN Spaces, I'd highly encourage you to move it somewhere else - there's no reason Microsoft should be making ad revenue off of your blog to use to censor people that are unfortate enough to live in a repressive society.

Spooling Up
Spooled up my baitcasting reels yesterday with new line. Last year, I relied pretty much exclusively on Spiderwire Stealth for everything except my spinning reel, but this year is going to be a bit different. I'll still use the Stealth as my main line, but I'm going to use 8-12 pound-test P-Line CX as a 18-24 inch leader.
I'm not convinced the leader will make a difference yet, but there is alot of uncertainty about how much line visibility (beneath the water) affects the fish's desire to take the lure. With the Stealth being completly opaque, I figured I'd give this way a try.

XBox Email Not Deliverable
Microsoft has some email issues with their XBox 360 Live system. Seems once you assign an email address to your account, it can never be changed - even thru customer support.

Putin's Gift
How nice of Putin to say that he's going to end the natural gas shortage that he created. What a humanitarian.
