Crappy Crappie Fishing
Went crappie fishing with Taylor this past Monday since the high tempertature was 60+ degrees over near Howard, KS - it turned into quite a day.
To get my boat over, I first had to buy new tires for my trailer (I just bought the whole wheel assembly) and then come home and swap them out with my current crap tires (one blew last time I went fishing). So after the 2 tires are changed, we head out a bit later than expected and when we get to the lake, there is a good bit more wind that had been predicted.
Oh well, so we swing the rig around and back everything up to the boat ramp. When we get out of the Xterra though, the back right tire has been punctured and is leaking. So I take the trailer off of the X, change the tire, and 40 minutes later we are finally fishing.
The crappie weren't biting very well - we only caught 2, but the bass were more active so it wasn't a total bust. The bigger fish below was Taylor's 2nd bass of the day (I'm holding it because she won't hold a bass by the mouth yet), and on the very next cast I caught the monster in the bottom picture.

Dim Dems
Thank God the the Democrats in Congress aren't in charge of the country - because this is what we'd be facing.
So if we trash the Patriot Act, stop targeting terrorists overseas and stop coercing those we capture to make them talk, if we make it more difficult for our spies to snoop, if we retreat from Iraq, leaving the battlefield to Saddam Hussein loyalists and al-Qaeda, maybe we'll be just fine.

Commie / Nazi Soccer
What the hell is wrong with soccer in Europe. When there aren't people getting trampled to death at the games, there's this crap:
Lazio fans waved swastika flags while Livorno fans had red Communist flags. The players, management, and fans of these teams should be ashamed; and the league ought to do something about it.

The Cheater
I guess this is 1 way of getting back at a cheating spouse. This is actually pretty tame since anything that ends up on the internet of a former spouse is usually either:
A) embarrassing
B) nude
C) photoshopped
D) all of the above

Dean Blows It
Congratulations Democrats, you just lost the mid-terms and maybe the 2008 presidency with this idiocy from Howard Dean.
..."idea that we're going to win the war in Iraq is an idea which is just plain wrong"You cannot win an election by talking down the capabilities of this country or our military.
