Knee Update, No Surgery For Now

went to the specialist last Monday, and he says that I don't need surgery (at least yet). I've got a different knee brace now (pictured) that is actually a 'post operative' model, but the other brace was so uncomfortable that it was painful. This brace is much more comfortable - and as a result I wear it more often.
Supposedly, my ligaments and tendons will heal over the next month or so, and then it will be a matter of whether my meniscus is OK. If my knee locks up in certain positions, or if I have a click in my knee, surgery will then likely be necessary.
I can't wait to get this thing off my leg though. Stacy measured my thighs this weekend, and I've already lost 1.5" off my injured leg around the thigh. Another month and I'm really going to look freakish with my one skinny leg once the brace comes off.
