Go Steelers!

So how is it that my Steelers, who I thought would be so bad this year that I named my fantasy team 'MySteelersSuck', just beat the Patriots and are now 6-1? The injury to Tommy Maddux and installation of Ben Roethlisberger at QB seems to have made a massive difference. I wonder if Maddux has realized that even when he's healthy, he'll never see the field again.

2004 Election Prediction

Just to be on record with my prediction for the election:

  • Bush wins popular vote by 3%
  • Bush wins electoral college with 280+ votes.
  • Dashle will retain his Senate seat.
  • Dem lawsuits will go nowhere.
  • Angry lefty partisans bloggers (Atrios, Kos, OWillis) will continue their circle-jerk mantra of 'Repugs are evil, Bush lied, voter supression, they will pay, we've got to be tough'; while the rest of the party wakes up and realizes its not a great idea to have the (those) radicals in charge.
  • Hillary controls the direction of the Dem party as likely nominee in 08 - and looks like a moderate soft-spoken candidate in comparison.

    No Comments Due To Spam

We apparently had a problem w/ the comments script not working, which I fixed this morning. Unfortunately, as soon as I fixed it, the spam comments started pouring in so I've disabled commenting for the time being.

    Cecil Fielder

Whatever happened to Cecil Fielder? He's broke from gambling debts, and getting divorced. Oh, and nobody can find him currently. It got so bad with his wife that she actually stabbed him with a fork. x

    October Already?

Well, we got our first ever flood of comment spam this weekend. I've had some episodes on and off over the past year or so, but never to this extent. Nearly 300 messages strewn all throughout the site.

And how about that John Kerry!? I thought he'd have trouble in the debates making himself sound, well... alive, but he actually beat Bush. I didn't like alot of Kerry's substance, but he still cleaned GW's clock.

Still not sure what to do w/ this site. Updates will be erratic as I'm busy and traveling this week.
