Not My Definition Of Superb

Everytime Bush says something stupid about Rumsfeld, he probably loses an electoral vote or so.
"Thank you for your leadership. You are courageously leading our nation in the war against terror. You are doing a superb job," Bush said at the beginning of televised remarks to reporters.
I'm torn on whether Rumsfeld should be fired or resign, but I can see no possible way to describe his job performance as superb. I'd hate to see what would have to happen for him to get a poor performance review from Bush.
