A Lookback At The Masters
Well, well ... Phil Mickelson won The Masters. I really didn't think he had it in him - and thru the first 10 holes, it didn't look like he did. What a great finish though. Some additional thoughts:
Did that monkey on Mickelson's back get a little green jacket too?
Has Tiger Woods called Butch Harmon yet? Did the telecasters ever mention that Tiger vomited near the 1st green on Sunday? I didn't hear it mentioned.
Could Sergio Garcia have been any more disinterested in being interviewed by Dick Enberg after his round? If you saw The Golf Channel's evening coverage, you saw that Garcia has some serious issues right now, telling Kelly Tilhman to 'Make sure you remind everybody what Tiger shot'. If he doesn't win something soon, he's going to morph into this generation's Colin Montgomerie.
With a strong 2nd half of the season, and continued Tiger struggles, how long till Phil takes over as #1 in the world rankings? (He'll probably need another major this year, or 5-6 more wins).
Who's left now as the 'best player never to win a major'?
