What is Howard Dean thinking? Democratic presidential candidate Howard Dean told a Tallahassee audience today that southerners have to quit basing their votes on "race, guns, God and gays."
Does he really mean to tell people to ignore 4 huge issues of the day? Affirmative Action, the Right to Bear Arms, Separation of Church and State, and Civil Rights - I'm just supposed to ignore those issues? Please!
Those issues will stop being important to conservative southerners about the same time that they stop being important to liberal yankees - never.
