Fulton Allem vs Annika

Yikes. If you thought Vijay Singh's comments about Annika were harsh, this'll drive you nuts:

Fulton Allem says: "You can't mix oil and water; it's as simple as that," Allem said. "I'm 100 percent behind Vijay because men can't play on the women's tour, so why should women be allowed to play on our tour?"

Thats not a popular opinion, but so far he hasn't made an ass of himself.

"Obviously, there are people that want her to play, and there are people that don't want her to play. I'm one of those people that don't want her to play. She's a woman. I'm a man. She should do what women do. I'll do what men do."

Uh oh. Somebody is going to be apologizing for that tomorrow. "You're a man. What would you think if somebody said, 'We're going to give your spot to a woman?' " Allem said. "I'm taking nothing away from her. She's a great women's player, blah, blah, blah. But I don't walk around being nine months pregnant."

Fulton is a sometimes commentator on The Golf Channel. I've got a feeling I won't be seeing him around there anytime soon.
