We've finally got a resolution [alt link] of the spitwad kid convicted of 2 felonies. Jeffrey Figueroa was sentenced to six days in juvenile hall, put on probation and ordered to contribute 150 hours of community service at an eye bank. He also was ordered not to make any more spitballs, according to his mother, Yvette Figueroa.

Also, the kid and his parents have to take anger management classes; and the parents were ordered to take parenting classes.

The injury that resulted from the spitwad was unfortunate, but this is all just overkill.
