Its a freaking epidemic all of the sudden. Eleven year old girl in 
Pennsylvania gets suspended for drawing a picture of her teacher with an arrow thru her head [alt link] . Becca Johnson, an honor-roll sixth-grader at Mellon Middle School, drew the picture on the back of a vocabulary test on which she had gotten a D. The school says the drawing was a death threat. They seemed to have overlooked a couple of other possibilities: that the teacher was so funny, she reminded the girl of Steve Martin; or perhaps that she is so enamored with her teacher that she's simply love struck. At least this girl just got suspended. Teachers have been known to do worse than that: Teacher Punished For Role In Haircut. Marcqueez recounted his story in March at his attorney's office. He said he was called into a room where Mathis pushed him to the floor and straddled him as Hamilton found scissors; Mathis cut his hair as Hamilton helped hold him down.
