Ditch Kazaa Now

If you have Kazaa installed for sharing MP3's, its time to remove it. Brilliant (Digital Entertainment) has been distributing its 3D advertising technology along with Kazaa's file-swapping software since last fall. But recently Brilliant started sending out additional software that would turn every computer running Kazaa into a node on Brilliant's own network. Until all the legal challenges to software like Kazaa and services like Napster get thru the court, this is the kind of crap that we users have to remain on alert about. Without the ability to market advertising space in legitimate circles - its no wonder that so many file sharing aps come bundled with junk ware or trojan-esque programs like this one.
