The Phantom Edit
The Phantom Edit? Apparently, there is an edited version of The Phantom Menace floating around on the web. A "Star Wars" fan identified only as "William" claimed to have downloadable MPEG files of the film that he was prepared to post next week. Another fan from Van Nuys, CA, said he saw "The Phantom Edit" tucked away on the shelves of his local Blockbuster Video. Several said comic shops in major U.S. cities are openly selling the new version of the film, but others were already calling the whole thing a hoax.
